FREE OF CHARGE

I can provide written, fixed price estimates for the following work

  • Heat Pump Installations

  • Boiler, Megaflo and Radiator Installations

  • Larger work eg. first and second fixing kitchens and bathrooms.

I install all types and makes of boilers including Viessmann and Vaillant where I am an Advanced Pro Installer.

Plumbing, Heating and Gas Hourly Rate

£90

I don’t charge a callout fee however I do charge a minimum of one hour and will aim to get it sorted in the first hour. If I think the work will take longer or would need parts than I will discuss with you before I go ahead.

Materials supplied by On Point Plumbing Ltd will be charged at trade price plus 30% mark up and are subject to VAT.

Parking, congestion zone charge and waste removal will be added to the final invoice.

Additional Engineers are charged at £45 per hour

Boiler Service

£90

Getting your boiler serviced annually is a great way to keep your boiler burning safely and is a chance to spot any potential costly future issues. Boiler manufacturers will expect the boiler to be serviced annually to keep the warranty valid.

Depending on the type and condition of your boiler I will strip it down and clean it thoroughly. I will make sure it is burning cleanly and efficiently. I will make sure all safety devices are working as they should. I will discuss with you first if any parts or seals need replacing.

I can provide a PDF of the service sheet for your records and I will also send you a reminder when the next service is due.

Remedial work will be carried out per 30 minutes.

Landlord Gas Certificate

£90

I will make sure all of the gas appliances including pipework and meter are in safe working order. I will notify you if I believe there are unsafe situations and provide you with a signed PDF of the certificate. I will also send you a reminder in 11 months so there is no chance of missing the expiry date. The price includes 2 appliances (eg. boiler and hob) and any more will be charged at £20+vat per appliance.

I can also supply and install a Carbon Monoxide alarm for an additional £25+vat, not bad for up to 7 years of life.

Prices are negotiable depending on volume of certificates.

Combined Landlord Certificate and Boiler Service

£140

As a Landlord it is often easier to organise just one visit rather than two, especially if you are asking the tenant to be in for the appointment. This is better for me as well so I offer a reduced rate for this service. 

I can organise the appointments directly with the tenants to avoid Landlords and Letting Agents spending time liaising with both sides.

Powerflushing

I charge a minimum of £400 for up to 5 radiators. Any additional radiators are charged at £40 per radiator

For example if you have 7 radiators it would be £400+vat + £40+vat + £40+vat = £480+vat

Dirty system water is the main cause of a boiler breaking down. A Powerflush is a deep clean of your Central Heating System using twin powerful magnets and chemical cleanser. Each radiator is flushed individually and agitated to release maximum sludge, rust or any other debris which has accumulated over time due to oxidation. If you have radiators that are not heating up then this may be the cause.

The benefits of having a Powerflush include:

  • Get heat to cold radiators

  • More even heat distribution throughout the property.

  • Improved overall energy savings

  • Lower household bills

  • Increased system reliability

  • Extended system life 

Dirty system water is the main cause of a boiler breaking down. A powerflush would normally take a day. At the end of the flush the system is treated with Adey MC1+ Inhibitor that will slow any future corrosion in your boiler and radiators.
